Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mangu Delivery (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Mangu Delivery provides same-day and standard parcel delivery services across East Africa, including Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi. Our platform connects customers with delivery riders to facilitate package transport.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

4. Delivery Services

• Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
• We reserve the right to refuse delivery of prohibited items including illegal goods, hazardous materials, and perishables without proper packaging.
• The customer is responsible for accurate pickup and delivery address information.
• Mangu Delivery is not liable for delays caused by incorrect address information, recipient unavailability, or events beyond our control.

5. Pricing and Payment

• Prices are displayed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and are subject to change without notice.
• Payment is due at the time of shipment creation unless a credit account has been established.
• All transactions are processed securely. We do not store payment card information.

6. Liability Limitations

Mangu Delivery's liability for lost or damaged packages is limited to the declared value of the package, not to exceed UGX 500,000 per shipment, unless additional insurance coverage has been purchased. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from shipping via Mangu Delivery:

• Illegal substances or contraband
• Firearms, ammunition, and weapons
• Explosive, flammable, or hazardous materials
• Live animals
• Currency, negotiable instruments, or precious metals
• Human remains or body parts

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Mangu Delivery platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Mangu Delivery and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent or harmful activities.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Uganda.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
